What to Do Today?

We were supposed to attend a wedding reception today, but plans were cancelled at the last minute. My mother in law wanted to see the wedding, but asked Willy and me to go to the reception. She did make it to the church, but since 3 employees were absent today from their store, Willy decided he could not leave. So I am left at home, just surfing the Net.

I even bought a new dress yesterday, to wear today! Had a hard time looking for just the right dress too. All the really nice dresses were in reds or pinks, which is not allowed yet. My father in law passed away last year, so we're observing the "no red and pink" clothes tradition. Not sure if it's for just a year or the mother in law will decide to extend it. The tradition is actually 3 years no bright/happy colors. I finally saw a blue and white dress that (1) looked good, and (2) looks good on me. So, the unveiling of the new dress is postponed. Maybe I'll get to wear it on the 26th, we're going to attend a birthday party then.Our kumare and kumpare's 2nd son Raleigh will celebrate his first birthday at the Quezon City Sports Club main ballroom. I just received the text invitation yesterday. Advance happy birthday Raleigh!
