Gift Card? I Like!

My aunts called me a few weeks ago and told me that they were sending some stuff for us. If I wanted something in particular, I just had to tell them and they would get it for me. I said anything they sent over was fine.
If I lived in the US though, I would ask for a gift card. Gift cards are so versatile, they can be used to buy anything the recipient wants, and if the price is higher than the value of the card, they can just add a little bit to make the purchase.

And if I wait until after Christmas, the after Christmas sales are sure to be heaven for a bargain shopper like me. The shops offer great deals after Christmas, so I want to wait until after the rush and buy myself something for the house.
The aunts always buy stuff for us, and they ask us what we want, but I feel it's hard to ask for a particular item, because you are not there personally to see it. I'm one of those shoppers who have to see the item with my own eyes, and feel it in my hands before I buy anything. I could buy the exact thing I want, with no need to drive far, with no need for them to pay for shipping. too A gift card from Bed Bath and Beyond or from Home Depot would be very much appreciated. Perhaps I should send 1 to my friend who lives in Chino Hills too.
